After understanding your business and its products and services, we search your industry (in Australia) for complimentary businesses related to your products or services. Even your competitors if you agree. Then we email them requesting permission to write an article for their blog with of course, a back-link to your site. This form of highly relevant link will produce the most link-juice, better than hundreds of non-relevant paid links which will soon be penalised by search engines. Each permanent article will be original, written by us just for you, with your back-link above the fold. Link building is the process of establishing identity verification

Gone are the days of cheap Indian link-building SEO where you can buy 1000 links for $100. Google has stated the search engine will penalize sites that engage in manipulating search ranking results using irrelevant links, even from non-spam sites. However, content building is allowed and encouraged. This is the only service we provide.

If you apply for a bank account then you must prove who you are using validated photo id. Similarly, search engines want to know your site is bona fide; what you say it is. Not spam, not malware, not adware, etc. When you have inbound links related to your sites theme then the likely hood of your site being real goes up. For example, if a big company like Microsoft links to your site it means you will share some of their positive authority as they would not recommend rubbish to their clients. If government or educations link to you it’s even better. If a porn, gambling, torrent or malware site links to your site the opposite will happen, you will get their authority which is negative, thus demoting your status.

Google has guidelines outlining how to behave in the WWW. If interested have a read and make sure your site is compliant. All our work follows their recommendations as we have mention under our quality of inbound links section.

The industry has several jargon words

  • back-links or inbound links are links from a third-party website pointing to your website (one-way)
  • anchor text is what the search engine uses to decide if your website is related. For example, my link-builder points to this page. The anchor text is the text you see (link-builder), the link behind that text tells google who it belongs to (this URL). The content of the anchor (link and build) relate to the page’s title which is , hence the search engine will think it is related; this is a relevant and good link. When building links you do not want to have the same anchor text, variety and diversity is what happens in the real world. If all are the same then the search engine will know they were bought.
  • footprint is when we use automation software to build lots of links with the same anchor text in the same period, this should be avoided
  • page rank or PR defines the authenticity of a site. Higher the better, 10 is top. For linking, avoid buying anything less than 3, let those (0,1 & 2) come naturally and people link to you. Most paid links are for sites and directories with a zero PR; these will either have no effect or demote you.
  • penalty or ban refers to sites which are not google compliant so have been penalised; never have links from these sites.
  • white hat refers to google compliant SEO practices; avoid the other colours

When building inbound links it is important to note several very important factors, the page rank, how ethical and compliant a site, its theme, and relation to your site, how many links on the page already, do they offer one way or reciprocal links, is the link text or graphic (avoid unrelated affiliate with graphic links), how long will the link last, language and location and most importantly:- does a link from this site feel natural, would you do it if no search engine existed?
